

INGREDIENTS

- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 medium beetroot, peeled and thick grated
- 1 carrot, peeled and grated
- 5-10 French beans, chopped
- ¼ cup green peas
- 2-3 green chillies, chopped
- 1-inch ginger, chopped
- 2 cups boiled potatoes, mashed
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp Shilpas Masala Mill Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Shilpas Masala Mill Kitchen King or Shilpa’s Masala Mill Pav Bhaji Masala
- ½ tsp Chaat Masala
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp black pepper powder
- Coriander leaves, chopped
- ¼ cup bread crumbs
- Salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
INGREDIENTS FOR COATING (SLURRY)
- ½ cup maida
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- Salt
- ¾ cup bread crumbs
- ½ cup cornflakes, crushed fine
- Water as required
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add cumin seeds.
- Add green chillies, onion and fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the rest of the vegetables and masalas.
- Fry for a minute.
- Add potatoes and mix well.

- Add bread crumbs and mix for 30-40 seconds only.

- Switch off the flame.
- Add coriander and continue to mix well until a dough-like texture is formed.

- Grease palms and a heart-shaped cookie cutter.
- Form heart-shaped patties.

- Dip in slurry and the cornflakes and breadcrumbs mixture.

- Deep fry until golden on both sides.

- That’s it, your train wali Cutlet is ready.
- Remove and enjoy with bread, ketchup and chai.
