
INGREDIENTS FOR GREEN MASALA

- ½ fresh coconut, sliced
- Bunch of coriander leaves with stems
- 5-6 garlic
- ½ inch ginger
- Few curry leaves
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- 2-3 tsp roasted peanuts
- 7-8 green chillies
INSTRUCTIONS
- Blend all above ingredients to paste form adding water.

OTHER INGREDIENTS
- 250-300 gms matki, sprouted

- Oil
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- Few curry leaves
- Pinch of hing
- 1 onion, chopped
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp Kasuri methi
- Coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- ¼ tsp Sugar (optional)
- Half tomato, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add oil to the pan.
- Add cumin, curry leaves and hing.
- Add onion and fry until brown in colour.

- Add turmeric powder and the ground paste.

- Fry the masala until oil separates on sides (keep stirring).
- Add Kasuri methi and coriander leaves.
- Add coriander powder, garam masala and salt.
- Fry well.
- Add matki and enough water to cook the sprouts.

- Add tomato.
- Cook on med flame for around 10-12 mins.

- That’s it, enjoy your Hirvya Mirchi cha Gavran Matkicha Rassa with chapatis, rice, bhakris.
