
This is a traditional Goan Kheer which is prepared especially during Ganesh festival and offered as Prasad. It is made of Chana dal, jaggery, sago, and coconut milk.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Chana dal, soaked and cooked until its soft but retaining shape
- 1 cup jaggery
- 2-3 cups coconut milk
- Few fresh coconut pieces
- Few soaked cashew nuts
- 3-4 tbsp of sabudana, soaked
- Cardamom powder
- Nutmeg powder
- Salt to taste


INSTRUCTIONS
Mix everything in a pot.

Turn on gas to low flame and simmer the kheer.
Cook until mixture thickens.
And that’s it, your easy and nutritious Mangane is ready to serve.
