

INGREDIENTS
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour (310 g)
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ¾ cup warm milk
- 1 small egg, beaten
- 15 g fresh yeast or 1¼ tsp active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp softened butter (30 g)
- 150 g Nutella
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add the flour to a large mixing bowl.
- Add the salt and mix well.
- Mix together the sugar, beaten egg, softened butter and warm milk.

- Add the yeast to the milk mixture and dissolve completely.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
- Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover and let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

- Punch down the dough to release the air and knead lightly.
- Dust a flat surface with flour and roll the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread the Nutella evenly over the surface.

- Cut the dough into 6 long strips.

- Stack 3 strips on top of each other to make 2 stacks.

- Cut each stack into 4 smaller sections.
- Arrange the stacks upright in a greased, parchment paper-lined 9×5-inch loaf pan.

- Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rest for another 30 minutes.

- Brush the top with beaten egg.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
